Put These On The Card!

I mean I told y’all on yesterday’s “Put these on the card” that I was the King of hockey in New York. I sure as hell backed that up. I gave you the Rangers winning -1.5. I gave you any time goal scorer Patrick Kane and I told you they would score at least 5 goals.

What more do y’all want? Don’t be selfish and come across this blog and not share it to others. Let everyone know that On The Card Sports and SpikedJohnnyB are giving you unbelievable picks. There is plenty to go around.

That’s right lets get some discussions going. I am very good at New York Rangers Hockey, MLB, College Football, College Basketball and NFL. Right now before baseball starts tomorrow it is hard for me to honestly give a pick I think will win. We are about authenticity at onthecardsports.com and I just don’t have a pick worthy of giving you today.

With all that honest shit being said, this is a sports and gambling site so put these on the card. I love the Mets, they are my favorite baseball, I am betting the under 93.5 wins this year. They did nothing to improve their lineup and are depending on two pitchers that are way over the hill, oh and they lost the best closer in baseball. I am not hedging my luck here and hoping my team proves me wrong and I lose money. I honestly think this team will finish third at best in the NL east.

Starting tomorrow I will have daily MLB picks and will sprinkle in my awesome New York Rangers knowledge as well as golf, racing, XFL. Have a hell of a hump day you filthy animals. Follow us on twitter, tik tok, instagram and youtube.

Put These On The Card!

So yesterday I admit, I did a bad thing. On the daily edition of put these on the card I gave y’all two big losers. Remember gambling is a numbers game and sometimes you lose. Credit me for taking full responsibility and proving my integrity by admitting I was wrong.

With all that being I am the King of New York Hockey Gambling. Don’t let anyone else tell you different, there is one King and there is one team in New York.

New York Rangers -1.5 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets. The Rangers are at home vs. a bad bluejackets squad. The kids line has been buzzin as of late and the boys are ready for a playoff push. They win this game by at least 2 goals.

I also have player props in this game. Give me Patrick Kane +150 anytime goal scorer. Kane is about to really turn it up with Panarin and Trocheck on what might be the best second line in hockey.

I can’t just give you one player prop in a game that the Rangers should score 5 goals. I told you Kane was on what could be the best second line in hockey. The guaranteed best third line in hockey is the kids line, no question. That’s why I love Kaapo Kakko +360 anytime goal scoring. That’s right I love the right wingers for New York tonight.

Remember sports gambling is a long play. Put these on the card and have a great fucking Tuesday!!!! Follow us on twitter, tik tok, instagram and youtube.

I’m Out on Following #Recruiting

Title is going to trigger recruiting faithful who get massive erections for the next industry changing quarterback that ends up being painfully mediocre at the next level, and even when they reach NFL draft level. Will Levis is a prime example of this when the indianapolis Colts draft him.

Follow me here, pre-NIL, the school had the leverage and the opportunity. Getting an education while possibly going on to the next level is some capacity. Now, The leverage has shifted over to the players, which on paper is great, terrific… on paper. If you listen to the Spiked College Football Show, you will hear me refer to Texas A&M as a school that is filled with a roster of 5 star athletes, that went 4-8 this past year. It’s really sad that this talented roster somehow, someway got worse from pre-NIL to post-NIL.

I’m from Nebraska, love all the Nebraska teams that come from this state. Matt Rhule taking over the program has been a game-changer in terms of moral compared to the last guy. He has even done great things on the recruiting trail, even selling some 2nd team Georgia Bulldogs the opportunity to play here, which I love this type of recruiting, getting guys who wouldn’t see the field in the SEC, an opportunity to play in the Big 10. There’s 1 recruit tho that has captured hearts and minds about recruiting in Nebraska, and that’s Dylan Raiola.

Dylan is going into his senior season. He is taking (unofficial) visits to Nebraska, Georgia, USC, pretty much any top program is courting him at this moment. He did commit to Ohio State, but pulled his commitment. He was considered the #1 pick of the class before pulling out, which dropped him to #6, explain that logic to me? It doesn’t make a lick of fucking sense, a JUNIOR, #1 overall changes his mind and it somehow de-values him?

That’s the start, recruiting upcoming seniors that have changed their minds once. What’s stopping them from changing their minds in January? Say Dylan commits in the coming weeks to Nebraska. Matt Rhule, in his true program building form, goes 2-10, I don’t think he does, I think if Nebraska makes a bowl, its considered a great season compared to the past, but I digress. Nebraska goes 2-10, and Lincoln Riley and USC calls up in December and does a sell job of how he doesn’t have any faith in the quarterback room post-Caleb Williams and asks “what will it take to get you here?” There’s nothing stopping this tampering from happening! The School nor these collectives can’t force these kids into contracts.

This is gonna be a big problem the earlier into a high school career we look at these kids to recruit. This is going to be a revolving door of pain for Football Programs, you hope these kids keep to their commitments, but it looks increasingly unlikely.

These times are unraveling post-NIL approval. There have to be some rules, establishing some balance, otherwise recruiting, specifically high-school recruiting is honestly just going to turn into a giant, jerk off session with the next flavor of the year. It’s why I don’t follow it a ton, specifically on the high school level and out on doing a ton of it on here, because nobody knows nor gets it right even 10 percent of the time. It will be interesting to watch to see how badly these elite athletes can fuck over these top programs for X amount of dollars, but beyond that, its unhealthy.

Put These On The Card!!

Happy Mother Fucking Monday my people. Sunday we were up units and just like my show units only go up! Yesterday’s “put these on the card” did very well, if it wasn’t for Creighton choking we would have hit a huge +1046 parlay, goddamn Bluejays.

As a real gambler I give you what I have played for the day, and today is kind of a soft day. I am slowly getting better with my NBA and NHL picks but I don’t love anything tonight. But we always give you picks so put these on the card.

Ohio State -2.5 vs Va Tech…. Why? I don’t know, the Buckeyes are better than the Hokies. Zero analysis here, gut feeling.

Florida ML+164 vs. Bowling Green…Why? Again no idea, just hunting plus signs. Lets go lady Gators!!!

There you go, put these on the card and have yourself a merry little Monday.

#7 Will Levis Ain’t The Guy

Sad to say Will Levis is a huge bust. Will was a decent college QB and his measurables are fantastic for what scouts look for in build of a franchise QB. So was Jamarcus, Bortles, Leaf on and on and on. This guy just does not have the “IT” to make him special.  It is like I am bashing my head into a wall talking to these homer wildcat fans on twitter.

Since Josh Allen came from Wyoming with the big arm and the size everyone is searching for that. Hate to say Allen kinda sucked in college. That is the only similarity in Allen and Levis.  I mean he couldn’t beat out Clifford in Penn State and transferred to basketball school Kentucky. It is clear when the competition isn’t a bad group of 5 team or Louisville he just doesn’t perform. Look at his stats this year vs. group of five and fcs. Now compare that to actual real defenses, it is not close.

In 2021, he had one game vs. SEC defenses where he threw for over 200 yards, not 300, 200 yards. In those 8 SEC games he had 8 ints and 12 tds, 3 coming in one game. That is the definition of mediocre. It is not only the stats, if you watch the guy play the only completions he makes are slant routes and screens. He had a 50/50 TD throw vs. Florida where everyone said “wow thats an amazing throw”. No that was a hailmary vs. one on one coverage and his wide out made a play. Just look this year, vs bad teams in Florida. Youngstown State and Miami (OH) he has 6 tds and 4 ints. That is not first round pick at all.

So y’all can have fun living with moron Kiper and his big board that he is never right on, I will live in reality. He is at best a backup and more than likely a start in the XFL in 4 years.

Creighton Loses in the Elite 8 to SDSU 57-56

One of the most physical games of the tournament was this afternoon when Creighton went up against SDSU. These two teams took the same airplane ride to Maui and are clearly the two best teams that emerged from that tournament.

The first half was a dogfight in terms of offense/defense. This play was from the first half and almost took out the WestwoodOne(National) and 1620The Zone(Omaha) play-by-play teams.

@nickbahe gets wet along with a WestwoodOne producer, While John Bishop is unscathed.

The second half SDSU clearly exerted a TKO in terms of physicality. Ryan Kalkbrenner was beat up, Ryan Nembhard injured his wrist early in the half and had to get it looked at. A hooking call against Kalkbrenner really changed the momentum of the game to SDSU’s favor. The game would be a back-and -forth of field goals, until with seconds left, this foul was called.

I’m firmly in the camp that this wasn’t a foul, but you hope officiating doesn’t dictate the outcome of the game. THIS CLEARLY DID, but as you will see below, many things could have gone better for the jays. here’s Nembhard, Coach Mac, and Team with their reactions on what happened.

It still was a legendary season getting to the elite 8. This team was counted out after the 6 game losing streak in January, including a loss to in-state rival Nebraska. The preseason news of a final 4 bid could have been correct by the newsmakers, but was 2 points away. We could blame Rico Bosco for being a mush and bandwagoning day of.

We’re also not gonna bury Darren Rovell for placing a futures bet for Creighton to win it all

We’re gonna follow coach Mac and take the high road, was a good season, but in the end, didn’t do enough to get it done. Theres only one thing left to say, and that is Thank You Jays for an Incredible Season!

Put These On The Card

Listen, guys, let’s not over think shit today. It is very simple we have two easy plays for March Madness tonight. Don’t get all in your head because you have been losing your ass and the craziness of March has taken over you.

UConn– 2.5 vs Gonzaga…… Why? We all know that Gonzaga will never win the National Championship. It is just fact that it’s not going to happen. Take a second and just look at the teams and who has been dominating. This is a very simple play. Take Hurley’s Huskies and give the Zags the 2.5. I would even alt line it to 5.5 and win some money, guys.

Kansas State -1.5 vs F.A.U…… This one is unbelievably easy as well. Guards win you games in March. Nowell has been the best guard in tournament and you have to factor in the amazing storyline of Keyontae Johnson . This team is Cinderella and they ain’t going home yet. Hammer The Cats. Responsibly bet your entire savings account on them and then thank me tomorrow.

Real Raw Gambling and Sports Talk

Just Like the title says, real raw gambling and sports. Alright, motherfuckers, your favorite college football internet gambler FINALLY has his own site. I was so tired of these sites not being real and giving people the raw sports and gambling talk that people crave. I needed this platform to freely speak my mind on all things sports, gambling, pop culture and whatever else I want! No more filters, no more strings; just giving great gambling advice and talking sports like the boys do at the bar.

If you’re reading this and don’t know who I am yet, you’ve been missing out. I am Spikedjohnnyb on Twitter. I run a college football podcast and college football gambling Youtube show. I’ve written for a few sports websites, but I’m tired of people hamstringing me. With the birth of my son and having a sugar mama as a wife and being a stay at home dad, I now have the opportunity to do my own thing.

The team at On the Card Sports, which right now is two of us, will cover all sports, gambling, pop culture and the things I enjoy. I know my shit when it comes to college football, college basketball and the NFL. I can talk baseball, hockey and soccer with the best of them and so can my partner Tyler. We are always looking for anybody that wants to talk sports and not be filtered. Our goal here at On the Card Sports is to blog about sports like how the guys talk to each other at home or at the bar over some beers.

Things are in motion for a daily sports gambling show on Youtube, Apple and Spotify, along with our Spiked College Football Show and other ideas in the works. If you look at my track record in gambling, I am a phenomenal college football gambler. I’m a real gambler, not the fake shit you see on Fanduel and Draft Kings. I put real money on the games.

Share the post and the site to all your degenerate gambling and sports friends. By the way I love Kansas State -1.5 and UConn -2.5. Take the picks win the money then thank me. Follow Us On Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram and Youtube.

PS: Grammar nazis I have two words for you” SUCK IT” , I talk sports, entertain you and win you money, I’m not an english teacher.
