A tradition unlike any other. The 2023 Masters starts tomorrow in Augusta, Georgia. Players will be teeing off in search of Golf immortality. The green jacket represents a brotherhood. To be considered a legend in the game, you need to have one in your closet.
The 2023 Masters is going to be an electric event because of the built-in rivalry of the LIV Golfers and the PGA pros. Which league will have the best showing? Will it come down to the Amen Corner of 11, 12, & 13? I sure as hell can’t wait for the walk over Hogan’s Bridge on Sunday with only 6 to play for icon status.
It is always hard to predict one winner of any golf tournament. Factor in the most famous and possibly toughest tournament in the world, and it is damn near impossible. That is why I have a few names you should consider betting on for the 2023 Masters.
Scottie Scheffler +700… He is the world’s number one ranked golfer and the reigning Masters champion. This may be an obvious pick to win the 2023 Masters, but it has to be made. He has already won the Phoenix Open and The Players Championship this year and has 4 more top ten finishes. I have to ride the hot hand here and take him as my favorite to win.
Justin Thomas +2100….. This Louisville Kentucky native has 15 career wins and 2 major championships. He has finished in the top 10 twice in his 7 Masters appearances. This is great value here for one of the world’s best when he is on; and this year he has looked good with 3 top 10 finishes.
Brooks Koepka +4400…. He was supposed to be the “new guy” when he joined the PGA tour in 2014. His career started off very hot with Brooks winning 4 major championships in three years. Koepka’s biggest enemy is his own damn head. If he stays out of it and plays golf, he is a world top 10 player. I really love the fact that he won the Orlando LIV Tour Event last week. When he wins, he tends to get on a roll and at 44-1, he is a great dark horse.
I would also tell you to have all three of these guys to finish top 10. Now remember the Masters is an unforgiving course. If the guys you bet on are not in contention on Saturday, regroup and bet with what you have seen so far.
