Nebraska Volleyball Match Inside Memorial Stadium Sells Out

In less than two days, Nebraska Volleyball Match Inside Memorial stadium sells out with over 82,000 tickets sold. The seats in the stands are completely sold out with student-on-the-field section are on sale now.

Volleyball Day in Nebraska will feature a UNL vs UNO Volleyball Match at 7:00, The warm up exhibition is UNK(Kearney) vs Wayne State (NE) at 4:30. There will be a concert after both matches, many assume it will be a Country Music Concert, the artist hasn’t been announced yet.

If you are wondering how an 80+ thousand person gonna watch a volleyball match and what the layout is going to be? I have it here:

it is to be believed since there are so many tickets sold that this model of the layout on the field will be moved and centered on the field. This current project layout is best to anticipate any high winds that day.

It would actually be third in the world for women’s sports events.

Here is a comparison of how much this match day will blow the current record out of the water.

You hope they take a page from how WWE does big events and have monitors like their big events so people in the upper decks can see what’s going on.

Will this be on TV? remains to be seen! who do you think will be the concert? For More Daily Sports News & Gambling Follow Us On: TwitterTik TokInstagram & Youtube.

Vince McMahon Got Sued Today…Twice

If you’re an average human with no legal trouble to speak of, you are doing a heck of a lot better than Vince McMahon at the moment. Reports came out this morning about a lawsuit coming from a former writer at WWE, Britney Abrahams, alleging she was discriminated and retaliated against for objecting to “offensively racist and stereotypical jargon” used in scripts written for Black wrestlers like Bianca Belair and Apollo Crews.

examples used in the filing are:

• Belair being scripted to say “Uh-Uh! Don’t make me take off my earrings and beat your ass!“ The suit claims Belair also objected to line on three different occasions, but Kevin Dunn repeatedly put it back in her scripts.

• Crews being told to speak with a “stereotypical and exaggerated Nigerian accent”.

• Another writer allegedly proposing (in a Slack channel that included Vince and Stephanie McMahon) that a Muslim wrestler be revealed as hiding that he was “behind the 9/11 attacks.” Court documents specify the wrestler in question was Mansoor.

• A suggestion in that same Slack that a Black male wrestler appear in drag that Abrahams says was only scrapped after a White writer objected, saying it would “perpetuate harmful stereotypes that would offend viewers”.

• A pitch for Shane Thorne’s “crocodile hunter” character to hunt Reggie “for fun” that included discussions of holding the Black wrestler captive in a cage.

Cagesideseats.com by way of Bloomberg Law

You can read the filing here, It does include many of the higher ups in the company including a now departed, Stephanie McMahon as well.

The second one isn’t a lawsuit…yet. The law firm Julie & Holleman LLP is investigating the proposed merger between Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., whereby the two entertainment giants will combine to form a new public company. That law firm represents Silver Lake, The private equity firm that controls 70 percent of Endeavor.

The Blog I did the day before the announcement stated that WWE shareholders would control 49 percent while Endeavor would control 51 percent.

From the Press Release about the investigation:

Julie & Holleman is investigating potential legal claims regarding the fairness of the merger terms and potential conflicts of interest. Among other things, Silver Lake may have interests that diverge from other shareholders’ interests, and it could be using its controlling stake to extract unfair benefits. Julie & Holleman is also concerned that the proposed merger might have driven the sale of its IMG business to another private equity firm.

The IMG Business is IMG Academy

Could this be a cash problem for which the sale helps out with? What else do you think could go wrong for Vince McMahon? For More Daily Sports News & Gambling Follow Us On: TwitterTik TokInstagram & Youtube.

People Of The Blog: Tyler Allen

Hi, my name is Tyler Allen, I am one of the people of the blog, and I own half of this excellent blog onthecardsports.com. I thought It would be an excellent series to start to begin to put a face to a name along with a story. We eventually want to expand too, and so this would be a great way to introduce new bloggers and content creators to the website.

It’s Me, Hi!…(Taylor Swift sung-style)

This is what I usually look like most of the time, backwards red sox cap, glasses, unshaven. The things I do for OTC are mostly technology related, I put together this website and execute all thing administration for it. JohhnyB recruited me because *his words, not mine,* the king of figuring tech stuff out, and doing it well! I also edit audio and video for various podcasts that we will start in the future on this website as well. Let me take you back to how we arrive here.

I was a nobody, an avid sports-watcher, degenerate gambler, and political shit talker. I went to college at University of Nebraska Kearney, learned a bunch of instruments, passionate about music, but fell in love with doing live sound and post production for music stuff.

In between the busy schedule of doing music/recording stuff, sports and pro wrestling was my escape. I kept tuned up during college talking to the sports management broadcasting majors, woodshedding sports takes. I would also start flirting with gambling, utilizing every offshore sportsbook/fantasy sportsbook I could get my hands on. I recorded and mixed some records, but most of my time would be delivering food to people and coming home to mix and finish projects.

I would listen to the combat sports channel when I was delivering sandwiches, Busted Open would be on early in the day, Luke Thomas would be on in the afternoon, but this Barstool radio occupied the middle of the day for two hours. I first thought Dave Portnoy sounded more french canadian-kevin owens-like. It would eventually grow to its own channel along with my curiosity about “content creation.”

I would not be here if this didn’t happen.

When Barstool Radio expanded into a full-blown channel, the former Indianapolis punter, Pat McAfee occupied the morning for 3 hours. I would often wake up to him saying “good morning beautiful people…” following with an inspirational quote to attack the day. I was a fan and was going to the Chiefs game, as a Charger fan at the time (now converted.) So I decided to buy a “for the brand” shirt in red, to just blend in. anyone asks I was a chiefs fan, just so I could get out the stadium alive.

I got noticed, a lot… My phone blew up, I didn’t notice initially, but people were hunting for me.

Then I was found and this was Pat’s Response.

The podcast shout out at the link.

Anyway, I was recruited to start to put together a show for a bunch of us fans. I knew how to record and edit things and was tasked to figure out the best ways to record the show remotely. At first, We were loudmouth degenerates, but eventually we settled on “The Anomalies.”

Putting together shows remotely wasn’t quite as a well-known thing to do as we know now, post pandemic. So doing this show initially turned some heads asking how I did it.

Trev at Pro Sports Extra was most impressed. A few of the guys from The Anomalies were already blogging for the site already, so it made much sense to add ourselves as multimedia project as well. I would get to do many projects, mee people that I would never think I would ever meet in real life, and do Live streams with people, and one of those people I got to meet was Johnny B!

Eventually, We both left PSE for better ground, doing projects for ourselves and various other outlets. I went on to be a founding member of the Iron Ostrich Network, A network of shows and have an alliance with. Johnny B went on to do Spiked and wanted to do more shows, not just a College Football show. I ended up inviting the spiked boys to the network.

Which brings us up to now. Johnny and I have always wanted to talk about gambling on sports so this is what we decided to do with it is this website. He would crank out content, and I would do some content but do all the behinds the scenes technical stuff.

Colorado Blocks Transfers to Game Film

Deon Sanders and Colorado is under scrutiny by blocking transfers from accessing game film. Why block them from it? It makes sense after specially if you had a really good spring game! I don’t want to steal my partner’s future blog previewing the Colorado Buffalo’s, its a kick ass series that you can see the latest one about the Miami Hurricanes here.

ESPN broadcasted the buffalo’s spring game on Saturday, It was the only game on the network, with Chris Fowler on the call. It was an excellent start getting national exposure on the largest sports network in the nation.

Tiny Baby Buffs

After the game, Transfer Announcements starting WR Montana Lemonious-Craig, who kicked ass during the spring game with 154 yards and TD. He announces he is going into the portal. Head-Scratching to say the least…

After this, the Transfer’s didn’t stop there…

After all those transfers Monday night, Sean Keeler from the Denver Post wrote about Ugly Side of the Colorado rebuild. The Article states about how many of the players were not just suggested to go into the transfer portal, some of the players were forced into it.

in addition, to all these transfers, players being forced to join the transfer portal, Deon is not allowing any film to those that have announced that they are transferring. It’s not one thing forcing kids into the portal, but essentially kicking their ass on the way out and not allowing film so these kids get recruited to somewhere else is just a very tiny move. The tweet below went viral because of Deon’s inaction.

What’s next? how does Colorado rebuild after all these transfers? Could it get worse? I was just about to hit publish and then this gem popped up on my timeline.

I want to be proven wrong, but sure, keep this as a receipt, again I want to be proven wrong for the PAC-12’s sake. I know it won’t happen overnight. I want to thank the twitter feed @tinybabybuffs for all this info and pointing out how extremely small the players are for the school. WWE Will Crown a New World Heavyweight Champion

Triple H made an earth-shattering announcement tonight on Raw, Well, actually two big announcements. The first was that Roman Reigns will be drafted to a brand and will stay on that brand only, with his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

I would assume these two titles that Roman has, will combine into one, unless they just ditch the blue title after a PLE. The other announcement is that because of Romans new contract and not having to defend the title at every PLE, there was a need for a Title where a champ can defend it often. So they Unveiled a new big gold belt called the WWE world heavyweight championship. Here is that title down below:

Here is the new world heavyweight championship belt.

This is the announcement:

What do we think? who will be involved in that match for the new top WWE title?

New(ish) Herbie Husker Is Coming

Nebraska fans got blue balled today in regards to a new(ish) Herbie Husker in the latest video from the Athletic Department below.

read @trevalberts press release about him here:

It is an updated version from the one done in 2003. Here is a comparison from the one released today from that one unveiled in 2003.

slight updates more @BFW looking.

It is not only just the generic image, the update includes sport-specific Herbie’s as well.

The unveiling is coming this Saturday for the Spring Game, and If it looks like this below, I’m excited because the one that we have had since 2003 is horrible-looking and doesn’t look like this at all.

The one supposedly unveiled This Saturday.

Herbie Husker in Real life.

Reports: UFC Parent Company, Endeavor Finalizing Deal To Buy WWE.

Wrestling fans have been dreading or fantasizing about this story forever…and it’s as close as Monday to being finalized.

David Farber pitched endeavor 5 days ago.

That’s right the parent company of the UFC is finalizing a deal to become owners of the WWE. The sale price you ask? 9.3 billion! 1/3rd of that in Vince McMahons pocket.

A few details, Vince is now the executive chairman of this company. So a post-wwe without Vince isn’t gonna happen here soon. Endeavor will be 51 percent owner while shareholders control 49 percent. I’d assume a portion of the 9.3 Billion goes into Vince’s pocket directly since he controls 37 percent of the company currently.

This weekend also kicks of TV rights deals for Smackdown, Raw and the Network that expire in 2026. Those deals fetched billions of dollars on their own.

With the potential sale, does this mean Endeavor would be shopping for suitors that will do a PPV model similar to ESPN? I don’t think it does, since WWE PLE subscribers make up over half the subscriber base for peacock. NBC-universal will back up a brinks truck to Endeavor to keep the network, raw and the PLE model intact.

I think for the most part WWE company structure get infused into the Endeavor company, but still will operate atomically. Think like a fancy portfolio brag.

What do you guys think of a potential sale that could be finalized Tomorrow?!

WWE CEO Nick Khan Wants Legalized Gambling on Matches; Sports Books Don’t.

Nick Khan has been making the media rounds in this week leading up to WrestleMania Weekend. He’s appeared on any sports/business media outlet to discuss Vince becoming Chairman. or Simple questions about Pat McAfee coming back. if you listen to them, they are the typical business-like responses.

Here he is on Colin Cowherd show talking about Vince and Dana White:

Here is a interesting clip from CNBC about Stephanie McMahon:

I love these CNBC interviews where they go extremely wonk-level into the company. its a great reminder of the fact that WWE is a publicly traded company. In this interview they were discussing the legalization of gambling on professional wrestling matches. You can bet on them on sports books that originate outside of the United States. I have done this, and I can tell you, it’s not the best experience a gambler can have. The odds aren’t the best and can fluctuate, and even close days before an event. Wrestling betters call this event the “smart money wave” because people read into the internet insights and move massive amounts of money to change the odd’s significantly.

Nick Khan believes that the Grammy’s and Oscar’s are betted on, that WWE can be too, and he is wrong. Both of those awarding organizations have PriceWatermanCoopers run the vote, have Deloitte tabulate the results. The results that only a select, small amount of people can vote for. Not only that, but these award show outcomes are not predetermined like in professional wrestling.

Michigan, Colorado and Indiana are the states they want to try this out on. Michigan has catalog reviews every couple of years, when the newer catalog gets approved, it gets pushed to the sportsbooks.

They have registered to operate with Indiana Gaming Commission already, relating to this initiative.

Colorado has a state law, outlawing predetermined outcomes being gambled on.

I don’t think this is possible right now, with Vince McMahon chairman of the company. Rumors will always persist about Vince’s involvement in creative outcomes, and his constant rewrites. I see those constant changes are pushing sports books away from doing this.

In a post-sale, non-Vince McMahon involved WWE company, with Triple H head of creative. I can definitely seeing this happen. During the black and gold NXT days, he was extremely good at booking that far out, only having to re-write shows due to injury.

What States will do you think will go through with it?

Steve Wiltfong Proves My Point about #Recruiting

Days ago, I said I was out on recruiting. I still am. Crystal Ball Predictions are Stupid, Dumb and extremely pointless, but prove that I know that these “experts” have no idea. Steve Wiltfong, Director of 24/7 sports proved it today with this tweet:

Yes, it was about Dylan Raiola, but if you go back and do a search about his blogs “confirming” his crystal ball changes, he changes his “predictions” after every (Unofficial) official visits.

He even gets destroyed by twitter comments on this thread.

He (Un)officially visits Oregon here in the coming weeks, watch this space when the clown, Steven Wiltforg changes his crystal ball prediction again to Oregon. Ill do another blog, because high school recruiting is an unhealthy, grossly inaccurate and a Joke.

Here’s his first Crystal Ball

More Evidence:

Steve Wiltforg Is a Clown who has no idea what he talks about when he talks recruiting.
